The assault caused the partial closure of the CTA tunnel and the T3 car park.

An additional two individuals are now in custody related to a theft at Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals sustained injuries by what is thought to be pepper spray, according to law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in the Lambeth area for suspected robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals are still being held, authorities confirmed.

These detentions follow a probe into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the attack, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their luggage after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A toddler aged three was one of the injured in the event. A total of five individuals went to hospital for medical care and were later discharged.

Police detained a 31-year-old man on suspicion of theft and assault close to the location. He has since been released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.

Authorities were called at approximately 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding several individuals hurt by a noxious substance thought to be an irritant spray.

The assault - which police said was a standalone incident and not being treated as an act of terror - caused delays to rail services and the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park briefly.
